Jatelindo Introduces NFC-Based QRIS Tap

PT Jatelindo participated in the 2024 Indonesian Digital Economy Festival and Creative Economy (FEKDI) organized by the Bank of Indonesia, the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, and the Indonesian Payment System Association (ASPI) at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Jakarta on August 14.

As a member of ASPI and one of the drivers of digital payment innovation, Jatelindo introduced a payment prototype using NFC (Near Field Communication) technology for transportation services such as Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT. NFC technology makes it easier for Jaklingko app users to conduct transactions at the entry and exit gates of Transjakarta, MRT, and LRT stations. The way to use it is simply by tapping a smartphone that has NFC features and is connected to fund information such as server-based e-money, savings accounts, and credit cards.

“With our continuously updated and improved payment system, we expect to accelerate the development of an integrated transportation system, thereby making a significant impact on economic growth and regional development,” said Armanto Idham Hadju, President Director of Jatelindo Perkasa Abadi, in a press release on Friday

At the 2024 FEKDI KKI exhibition, Jatelindo also introduced its newest product, Optima 365, a platform already used to process operational transactions in JakLingko. “Optima 365 will be launched as our flagship product, offered to partners in need of a solution to simplify and streamline the management of operational transactions, from data consolidation, transaction calculation, reconciliation, settlement, and disbursement,” said Idham Hadju.
Through its participation in the 2024 FEKDI KKI, Idham Hadju hopes that Jatelindo will become more widely recognized as a pioneer in digital payment services and financial management solutions, and open up new opportunities for collaboration and development in the future.
